tvN’s “Alchemy of Souls” is a two-part series about young mages in the fictional country of Daeho. They encounter and deal with a forbidden magic spell that allows for body switching. The story follows Naksu, an elite warrior trapped in the body of a blind woman named Mudeok, who is also the lost daughter of a powerful priestess. As she becomes the servant and teacher of a troublemaking noble, Jang Uk, romance develops between them as they work to break a curse. However, a villainous mage creates chaos and threatens their plans. The story continues in the second part, “Light and Shadow”.
